Animal Clinic of Grand Prairie is a compassionate, fast-paced veterinary practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to their families. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician with solid surgical experience to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and all aspects of surgery
• Perform surgical prep, including induction, IV catheter placement, intubation, and anesthesia monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and assist during surgery as needed
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Perform diagnostics, including bloodwork, radiology, and lab tests
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Provide safe handling and restraint of animals
• Maintain detailed medical records
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, surgery suite, kennel areas, and equipment
• Contribute to a positive, team-centered work environment

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Previous surgical experience required (anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and recovery)
• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
• Familiarity with EzyVet is a plus
